This guide helps you understand how we manage IP addresses on our VPS servers. Our approach guarantees the best possible service while keeping optimal flexibility.
Our advantage as a RIPE LIR
We are members of the RIPE Local Internet Registry (LIR) (Réseaux IP Européens), which gives us a unique position in IP address management: we do not depend on third parties for our IP allocations, offering you a direct, reliable service.
Being a RIPE LIR means every IP we provide is managed directly by us. This independence translates into concrete benefits:
- Stability: you will never need to change your IP address because of external dependencies.
- Ownership: the IPs we provide are exclusively ours, ensuring a stable, controlled IP environment.
1. Genuine IP assigned when creating a VPS
When you create a VPS, it is automatically assigned an IP address we call "genuine". This address is unique to your VPS and has three key characteristics:
- Exclusivity: it is dedicated exclusively to your VPS.
- Immutability: once assigned, it cannot be changed or manually selected.
- Temporary nature: if you cancel the VPS, you lose that IP assignment.
2. Ordering additional IPs
We understand that more flexibility is often needed, so we offer additional IP addresses with extra advantages:
- Custom choice: you can pick your additional IPs from the following ranges:
5.134.116.0/22
185.47.128.0/22
188.213.4.0/22
- Renewal and ownership: as long as you keep renewing these additional IPs, they are considered yours.
- Mobility: you can move these IPs from one VPS to another as needed.

3. Configuring your IPs
Configuring your additional IPs is easy: see step 7 of our VPS getting-started guide, where we explain IP configuration on the VPS.
Our IP address policy is designed to give you flexibility, control and security. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us - we are here to help you get the most out of your VPS!
