Abuse Policy

At GINERNET we understand the importance of keeping the internet safe and secure, while respecting the privacy and rights of our customers.

As a hosting provider, it is not our role to determine the legality of the content or services hosted by our customers; that responsibility lies exclusively with the courts of law. However, we have established a set of guidelines to handle abuse reports, prioritizing situations that pose serious threats to safety and well-being.

Reports we handle without a court or administrative order

1. Child sexual abuse material

Any report related to child sexual abuse material is investigated and handled immediately. This type of content is unacceptable and is removed without delay.

2. Banking phishing

Reports of banking phishing activity are also handled immediately. We understand how serious these threats are to financial security and we act accordingly.

Law-enforcement requests

We comply with official takedown requests issued by law-enforcement bodies such as the National Police and the Guardia Civil in Spain.

Collaboration with the Netcraft platform

We recommend submitting phishing-related reports through specialized platforms such as Netcraft. Reports received through this channel are also evaluated and handled whenever possible.

Neutrality policy

For any other complaint that does not fall into the categories above, our position as a hosting provider is to remain neutral and respect our customers' privacy. Such complaints are treated as private matters and are not acted upon without a court or administrative order requiring it.

Summary

  • We immediately handle reports of child sexual abuse material and banking phishing.
  • We comply with law-enforcement requests from the Spanish National Police and Guardia Civil.
  • We handle phishing reports submitted through Netcraft.
