Transferring a service to a new owner

If you need to transfer a service purchased at GINERNET to another person or company, the ownership change must be formalized with the paperwork described below. This process protects both the current and the new owner.

Prerequisites

The new owner must have a GINERNET client account. If they do not have one yet, it can be created in a few minutes from the registration form.

Paperwork the current owner must prepare

  1. A handwritten letter including:
    • Explicit consent to the ownership change.
    • Full name, company and e-mail address of the new owner.
    • The list of products or services affected by the change.
    • Date and signature.
  2. A copy of the current owner's ID card (not the new owner's). If the current owner is a company, attach both the company's tax ID and the legal representative's ID card.

Scan the letter in good quality and send all the documents to our billing team by opening a support ticket.

If the current owner is unable to formalize the request (for example due to death or incapacity), the person in charge must complete the process attaching the legal documents that prove it: a death certificate, a medical certificate of incapacity or a notarial certificate.

Cost

The ownership change is free of charge for most services. It only carries a fee when the affected service is low-priced:

If the service costs less than €10/month or €100/year (before VAT), the ownership change costs €25 + VAT per service.

Once the documentation is received and validated, our billing team will complete the change and both parties will receive an e-mail confirmation.
