Spectacular, the best I've tried
Very low ping, the price is super good. I love that at no extra cost
they make a daily backup you can restore, which is very very useful.
It's ideal for setting up your own VPN. I had previously tried Strato,
OVH, Piensa Solutions, Ionos and Clouding.io.

What is a VPS server?
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a server running on a virtualisation
environment - in our case KVM/QEMU. The "private" part is for real:
the CPU, RAM and disk are reserved for you and not shared, each VPS is
isolated from the rest and only you have access. It can host websites,
email, a VPN, game servers or any application you can think of.
How much does a cheap VPS in Spain cost?
Our cheapest VPS costs €5/month (1 vCore, 1 GB of RAM and 10 GB of
NVMe on Intel E5 nodes), with a dedicated IPv4, 1 TB of traffic,
nightly backup and a replica in France included. And since billing is
hourly, if the server only lives a few days you only pay for those
days. Cheap not because we cut corners, but because the hardware, the
network and the datacenter in Spain are ours: no middlemen inflating
the price.
Where are the servers located?
Every VPS is hosted in Spain, in our own room at the Digital Realty
datacenter in Madrid, on our own hardware and network (AS59432). That
means under 1 ms of latency to any Spanish ISP and data hosted in
Spain, within the EU and under the GDPR - with the daily backup
replica in France, also on European soil.
How does pay-per-use work?
You load balance into your account (card, bank transfer or crypto) and
each VPS deducts its price hour by hour. The monthly price you see in
the configurator is the projection over 720 hours. If you delete the
server, billing stops instantly; if you only power it off, it keeps
reserving resources and keeps being billed. No lock-in, no fixed fees.
How long does VPS activation take?
Activation is immediate: as long as you have balance, the Manager
deploys the server in seconds and shows you the access details right
away. No manual validation, no waiting.
Can I scale up the resources later?
Yes, and independently: just CPU, just RAM, just disk or just IPs,
automatically from the Manager. The only technical limitation is that
a disk cannot be shrunk; to downgrade a disk you have to reinstall the
VPS from scratch.
Which operating systems can I install?
With one click: AlmaLinux, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, RouterOS or
Windows. You can also mount your own ISO image from the panel and
install (or compile) whatever you want. If you're after a light
visual desktop, Ubuntu with a graphical environment performs better
than Windows on small VPS.
Do you offer Windows VPS with remote desktop (RDP)?
Yes: choose Windows in the configurator and the VPS is delivered ready
to connect via Remote Desktop (RDP) from Windows, macOS, Linux or your
phone, with full control to install your applications - just like your
home PC, but running 24 hours a day in our Madrid datacenter. Windows
needs at least 2 vCores, 4 GB of RAM and 50 GB of disk (the
configurator adjusts it automatically), from €13/month with hourly
billing. It's the favourite VPS of traders running MetaTrader 24×7.
Do I need to open ports? Can I send email?
Our network doesn't block any inbound port: install your application
and it will respond directly (check your VPS firewall, which you
manage from the panel itself). The only exception is outbound port 25,
blocked by default so that a hacked server can't send spam. If you
need to send email, ask us to enable it.
Does the VPS have a dedicated IP? Can I add more?
Yes: every VPS ships with a public, static, dedicated IPv4 with every
port exclusively yours, plus IPv6. You can add extra fail-over IPv4
addresses: they are tied to your account, you can move them from one
VPS to another and they're yours for as long as you renew them. For
heavily attacked services, AntiDDoS IPs from Voxility or inLine for
€3/month.
How do backups work?
Every VPS includes an automatic backup every night, and every day a
replica is sent to a datacenter in France: real disaster recovery,
with your data always in the EU (GDPR) and at no extra cost. If you
need more, you can add on-demand backups. Everything is managed from
the Manager and restoring is one click, no ticket needed.
Can I use the VPS to host websites (hosting)?
Of course: you have root access and can install whatever you want, if
you know how. If you'd rather not manage the system, we have the
Managed VPS with cPanel included: we
look after the server and you look after your business.
And for a single website, a cPanel hosting
plan might be all you need.
What happens if my VPS goes down?
The network is monitored 24×7 with automatic alerts: most incidents
are resolved before you notice them. If your VPS doesn't respond,
check your machine first (it's usually the most common cause) using
the panel console, which works even without SSH. And if it won't come
back up, let us know right away: there are engineers on the other
side, not a script.
